MCK WELCOMES MACKENZIE NIX

Mackenzie joined MCK Architects in 2024; He completed his studies at the University of Sydney, graduating from the Masters program in 2021.

Mackenzie worked abroad under Sri Lankan Architect Channa Daswatte for two years, with a focus on heritage conservation in the UNESCO world heritage listed township of Galle, as well as working through numerous projects undertaken by the Lunuganga and Geoffrey Bawa Trusts.

Domestically, Mackenzie has gained experience across heritage conservation and residential architecture, working locally for Lucas Stapleton Johnson, Markham-Lee Architecture, and Sam Crawford Architects.

In his own time, Mackenzie is a keen illustrator, kayaker, and swimmer.
